I know there are greater tragedies happening every moment, but given the time, effort and rather considerable money I've invested in this, it's kinda looming large in my life. But I'm going to give it another try come spring - via UPS, thank you very much.saddlefitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18340539191435086835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315761897298237483.post-17413530510513456662009-08-23T11:53:12.240-04:002009-08-23T11:53:12.240-04:00I feel your pains with FedEx!

The other blog is http://coldantlerfarm.blogspot.com/ and I just thought it was funny, you both mention the little Wayside store in your posts!

I enjoy your blog, I just recently had my saddle fitted and it was fun to watch the fitter use the same tools you pictured the other month. I'm learning a lot!Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777722229477786430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315761897298237483.post-17744852508461440962009-08-13T13:45:16.618-04:002009-08-13T13:45:16.618-04:00What a frustrating series of events! Once she'd gone through similar shipping issues. Twice. On the third try they get it, on time! The Equitainer... empty. The tech forgot to actually put the semen in.

Yeah. There are ALWAYS issues with AI.

We ALWAYS picked the semen up FROM the local hub. Waiting on them to deliver to the farm took too long. We still had tons of issues but far fewer doing it that way.autumnblazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14261052609848445921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315761897298237483.post-27328855844253404992009-08-12T21:56:02.672-04:002009-08-12T21:56:02.672-04:00I agree. Of course, they can always get non-vital things to me just fine ... I'd have been happy to pick up the Equitainer in Albany, but the closest they could have gotten it was Newark, NY or Syracuse, NY, and not until late night. Since both are a 5-6 hr. drive, that wasn't an option, either.saddlefitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18340539191435086835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315761897298237483.post-70330409914495922482009-08-12T15:20:41.999-04:002009-08-12T15:20:41.999-04:00I have much the same luck with FedEx. They can only deliver while I am at work and Always require a signature. and you can't pick up from their depot either. Not without a fight anyway.M8rix187https://www.blogger.com/profile/07068307958172840779noreply@blogger.com
