New Feature - Thanks to CotH BBers!

I picked up a wonderful idea from the BBers at the Chronicle of the Horse forums, and - with your help, dear readers - will feature it regularly. If you'd like to e-mail me some photos of your horse, I'll make recommendations on which saddles and / or fitting options I'd chose as being the best candidates for your horse. And if you'd care to send a tracing (you'll have to snail-mail that, since any other method distorts the tracing and renders it useless), I'll even make recommendations on tree width.
Anyway, here are the photos I need:
First, a good conformation shot:

Next, these views of your horse's back:

I think this will be a fun, informative feature - I'm looking forward to it.

Glad I found your blog (from a CoTH post, of course! ;-) as I am looking for a new saddle for me (fits the horse, but not me, shoves my lower leg forward when on the horse...) Anyhow, what is your e-mail so I can send you pics of his confo and back? Also, I can send tracing too... Let me know, thanks!

Are you doing this saddle fit recommendation for free?

I am a wanna-be endurance rider who found your site through endurance.net, you can see my blog: www.adventuresonarabee.blogspot.com

I am having doubts that the saddle I am riding in is the best fit for me or my mare. The problem is that I am on a tight budget, so I am reallllly hoping the saddle I am using fits!

Thank you!

Nicole, thanks for the link to your blog. The saddle recommendations are free - I'm trying to educate as many people as possible, and want to make this info available to EVERYONE. There are good, affordable saddles out there, and there are often adjustments that can be made to correct some fit issues. Please remember to include photos of your horse saddled up, as in these photos: http://www.trumbullmtn.com/Other_Pages/saddlefit/fit_assess.htm
